We do not choose the circumstances we are born into. Neither did our beneficiaries. They face numerous setbacks from an early age, such as the inability to read or write, lack of nutrition and/or emotional scars. All these could be due to a lack of parental presence to teach and guide, financial constraints to afford nutritious food, or even abuse. Many challenges, many reasons.

This is why Life Community Services Society intervenes. Even if life has handed them cards they did not choose, we believe they can still choose different life outcomes.

We focus on intervention work, including preventive, remedial and holistic development (character, moral values, social and emotional well-being) to reduce potential problems such as crime, drug abuse and poor academic, physical, social and mental health.

Over the years, we have seen many success stories through our mentoring programme. Hence, we are planning to host our inaugural Mentoring Forum in 2020 to help other Social Service Agencies develop their mentoring capabilities. We believe more beneficiaries can be reached as a result, and more lives can be transformed.

To continue meeting the needs of our beneficiaries through our existing programmes and future plans, we are organising our 6th annual charity golf fundraising event, Golf for Life 2021, at Orchid Country Club.
